Bloodmobile to be at high school Tuesday!

posted Mar 22, 2017, 9:02 AM by Cabool R-IV Schools
The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks bloodmobile will be in Cabool on Tuesday, March 28.

The visit is being sponsored by Cabool High School FCCLA and will be held from noon to 6:00 p.m. at the old gymnasium.

To be eligible to give blood, you must weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health, and present a valid photo ID.

CBCO has issued a Code Yellow Alert for O-negative, O-positive and A-negative blood types, meaning there is less than a two-day supply of those blood types on hand. Donors to CBCO provide all of the blood for patients at 40 area hospitals. On average, a transfusion takes place every seven minutes and around 200 donations are needed each day to meet the area’s blood needs.
