Over $3,600 was raised at last Saturday evening’s dinner, show and auction held by the Cabool Schools music department at the community storm shelter.

The evening began with a lasagna dinner served by music department students to over 200 persons in attendance. Students then presented an Ed Sullivan-like variety show with a number of acts. This was followed by an auction of home-baked pies.

Funds raised will assist with a spring band trip planned to a competition out of state.

Auctioneer Hank Gorsenbacher

Auctioneer Hank Grosenbacher took bids on a pie displayed by Shelby Dobson during the pie auction held at last Saturday evening’s music department dinner at the community storm shelter.

Men in Tights

Closing out the variety show portion of the January 30 fundraiser for the music department was a lively rendition of “Men in Tights” that was an audience pleaser.
