The latest visitors to Cabool High School have traveled a long way – all the way from the moon.

They are moon rocks and they will be on the CHS campus for two weeks.

History teacher Dennis Brown requested the moon rocks from NASA and is incorporating them into his American history classes, where “we’re studying the cold war and the space race.”

All of Brown’s classes will be able to view and handle the NASA moon rock display. He plans to have at least one elementary school class see them also. And the public is invited to view them next Thursday, March 23, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Brown’s classroom in the high school “A” building.
