Cabool Board of Education held a closed session for personnel purposes April 11. Following are the actions taken by the school board during the session.
Classified personnel for the 2016-17 school year were hired as follows:
Administrative assistants: Melissa Bradshaw, Carrie Christeson, Debra Moore, Wendy Reese
Custodian/maintenance: Jerica Cody, Angela Forbeck, Kathy Jarrett, Kathleen Lewis, Michael Whittenberg, director Chris Reese

April Mayberry was employed as a special education paraprofessional, and Raymond Morrison was hired as a substitute bus driver.
Vacant club and class sponsor positions filled included Logan Bell and Linda Morgan, freshman class, and Juliet Vonallmen, Brandon Snow and Ruth Williams, sophomore class.
Open coaching positions approved were: Greg O’Connor, head football, off-season weights, and golf; Jacob Brookshire, high school boys’ track; Alysha Dotson, high school fall season cheerleading; Jamminy McCrosky, middle school assistant volleyball; Melissa Bradshaw, middle school girls’ basketball; Katherine Shockley, head volleyball and high school winter season cheerleading; and Dennis Brown, high school assistant football.
