Mrs. Alejandra Arce (CES)
Teaching music to young children requires patience, creativity, energy, and heart — and Mrs. Arce brings all of that and more into her classroom every single day. She has a special gift for making every child feel seen, valued, and capable. Through her enthusiasm and encouragement, students not only learn about rhythm, melody, and instruments, but they also gain confidence in themselves. She creates a safe and joyful space where children can express themselves freely and discover a love for music that will stay with them for years to come. Most importantly, she teaches more than music. She teaches teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and the courage to try something new. The impact she has on her students reaches far beyond the classroom. While she humbly continues to learn and refine her craft, she is undeniably the teacher our students need right now — someone who leads with heart, passion, and purpose.
Mrs. Olivia Christeson (CHS)
Mrs. Christeson is super patient and takes the time to help any student who needs it. She goes above and beyond to make sure students understand the concepts she teaches.
Mrs. Elizabeth Copeland (CHS)
Mrs. Copeland is wonderful with students—they truly enjoy her classes, and she does an excellent job teaching leadership skills. I especially appreciate how inclusive she is with my students and how willing she is to collaborate as a team player.
Mrs. Amber Dotson (CHS)
Amber is kind and cares for all of her students. She pushes them to do their best whether in the classroom or in competitive events. This is evident by the multiple gold medals that many of her FBLA students have earned in their competitions.
Mrs. Taylor Goforth (CES)
Mrs. Goforth loves her students and always works to help them find ways to be more successful in Math. She is an amazing teacher!
Mr. Mark Gossard (CES)
Mr. Gossard is an amazing first grade teacher. He truly cares for his students and works diligently to help them succeed. Cabool Elementary is fortunate to have Mr. Gossard!
Mrs. Chelsie Jones (CES)
Mrs. Jones is always willing to help others, especially those going into education. She has had multiple students observe or student teach in her classroom this year. She always has amazing student work displayed in the hallway. Mrs. Jones is so positive, also.
Mrs. Jones teaches with kindness and patience. She always greets her students with a smile and offers a kind word to uplift and encourage those around her. I admire her gentle but firm approach which creates a classroom environment built on safety and love. She is also a strong encourager to her fellow coworkers, freely sharing her wisdom and experience to help others succeed. Her students academic, social and emotional growth is at the heart of everything she does.
Mrs. Kara Lane (CMS)
Mrs. Lane has an ability to break down math concepts and present them in ways that truly resonate with her students. She helps students grow from where they are to confidently meeting grade-level expectations. Mrs. Lane has expert classroom management skills. We are blessed to have her as part of the 5th and 6th grade hallway team.
Mrs. Rachel Martin (CES)
Mrs. Martin consistently goes above and beyond to support her students. She creates a positive and welcoming classroom environment where everyone feels valued and encouraged to do their best. Her dedication, kindness, and passion for teaching truly makes a difference to our school community and our students.
Mrs. Audrey McCarty (CMS)
Mrs. McCarty is always doing everything she can to help the students that she services. She is patient, kind, and caring! The kids love Mrs. McCarty!
Audrey goes above and beyond for every student. She is always smiling and ready to dance. Her joy and dedication make our school better every day.
Mr. Ethan Meeks (CMS)
I am proud to nominate Coach Meeks for Teacher of the Month. As our 7th and 8th grade P.E. teacher, he creates an engaging and supportive environment where students build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits. In addition to teaching, Coach Meeks serves as our basketball and baseball coach, mentoring student-athletes both on and off the field. He emphasizes discipline, leadership, and academic responsibility while inspiring students to give their best effort. Coach Meeks’ dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to student success make him truly deserving of this recognition.
Mrs. Lacy Moore (CMS)
I would like to nominate Lacy Moore for teacher of the month. Lacy actively seeks out professional development opportunities that align with her personal goals of becoming an even more effective educator. She is intentional about her growth, always looking for innovative strategies and updated practices to bring back to her students. Her dedication to continuous improvement reflects her passion for teaching and her belief that learning never stops. She devotes her own time outside of regular school hours—including weekends and summer break—to ensure her students receive the best possible learning experience. Whether she is preparing engaging labs, refining lesson plans, or finding new ways to make science meaningful and hands-on, Lacy’s commitment is evident in everything she does.
Mrs. Erica Rogers (CHS)
Mrs. Rogers brings her best to her classroom each day. She consistently plans interactive and engaging lessons that prompt students to deep think. Additionally, she sponsors several student groups which include Cheerleading where her commitment to student excellence and perfection is evident in every routine.
Mrs. Jackie Sheppard (CES)
Jackie is consistently finding ways to teach students by fostering an engaging learning environment. She focuses on meeting students where they are at and filling gaps using research-based strategies. She effectively uses data to track and monitor student growth. Jackie invests in our students, district, and community to ensure needs are met in multiple areas. She truly is one of a kind!
Mrs. Kristen Sheppard (CES)
Kristen has been such a help us this year! She has found us tons of amazing extra resources and volunteered her time to help prep them for each of us. She has always been such a support too! I am super thankful to work with such a great person and be able to also call her friend.
Ms. Ginger Sneiderman (CHS)
Miss S is always understanding and kind, and helps the kids so much. She is generous and always has a kind word to say to everyone. (She also helps new staff acclimate quickly!)
I would like to nominate Ginger Sneiderman for Teacher of the Month. Ginger is an outstanding educator who works tirelessly to support her students and ensure their success. She consistently goes above and beyond, offering encouragement, guidance, and extra help whenever it is needed. In addition to her dedication in the classroom, she is always willing to support her fellow staff members with a positive attitude and a helping hand. Our school is a better place because of her commitment, kindness, and professionalism.

Coach Stuart has been an amazing addition to the Elementary school this year. He engages with the students while challenging students in the best way.Coach Stuart always has a smile on his face and is always willing to lend a hand to a fellow coworker if needed. The students LOVE to go to P.E.!
Mr. Juliet VonAllmen (CES)
Juliet goes above and beyond to make sure the students have all of the resources they need in order to succeed. She genuinely cares about the students and wants them to have fun while learning every day!

Angie Forbeck (Custodian)
Angie has been such a blessing and help to me this year. She has welcomed me with such kindness and helped explain many things. She has also helped solve problems and been a good friend. I'm very thankful to have her as our custodian!
Vanessa Nicci Farr (CHS Paraprofessional)
Mrs. Farr is amazing! She has stepped into her role, in the middle of the school year, and has rocked it! It is already evident that she cares about our students and their success. She is a great addition to Cabool High School!
Vanessa joined our team in the middle of the year but has not hesitated to jump right in and start building positive relationships with our special education students. It is easy to see that she cares about each one of the students and wants to see them succeed.

Kathleen is the best around! She keeps our building looking great, and does it with a smile on her face!
Raziel Maiser (CES Paraprofessional)
Raziel is an exceptional paraprofessional in Special Education. She is fully engaged in her work and consistently demonstrates a deep understanding of her responsibilities. Her knowledge, dedication, and strong work ethic make her an invaluable support to both students and teachers. She is ambitious and inspirational, always striving to grow while uplifting those around her. Raziel willingly assists special education teachers with classroom tasks and instructional support, stepping in wherever she is needed without hesitation. Most importantly, she works with students in a kind, patient, and respectful manner. She creates a supportive environment where students feel valued and encouraged. Her positive attitude and compassionate approach make a meaningful difference in the lives of the students she serves.
Bradley Robertson (Director of Maintenance/Custodians)
Bradley has went above and beyond anytime that I have asked him to do anything for my classrooms. He never complains and gets on the job right away.
Aracely Rodriguez (CES Paraprofessional)
Mrs. A consistently demonstrates kindness and a natural ability to teach and support students. She has a calm, patient presence and an instinct for meeting students where they are, helping them feel confident and capable. Mrs. A truly has a gift for working with children, and our school is better because of her dedication and heart for students.
Wendy Reese (Central Office & Board Secretary)
I would like to nominate Wendy Reese as Staff Member of the Month. Her exceptional attention to detail as our bookkeeper helps keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. She handles her responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring that even the most complex tasks are managed with care. Wendy is always kind and courteous, and she supports staff members with patience and a positive attitude. Our district is truly fortunate to have her dedication and expertise.
Misti Thiele (CMS Counselor)
I would like to nominate Misti Thiele for staff member of the month. Misti is always willing to step in wherever she is needed. She supports teachers with compassion, problem-solving, and encouragement, helping us navigate both academic and behavioral challenges with confidence. She checks in regularly, offers practical solutions, and makes herself available—even when her schedule is already full. In addition to her counseling responsibilities, Misti truly shines in her dedication to our school community. She is, without question, the queen of outdoor morning duty and traffic control. Rain or shine, she is outside greeting students and families with a smile while ensuring that traffic flows safely and efficiently. She manages the chaos of morning drop-off with patience, organization, and good humor—setting a positive tone for the entire school day.
