Mrs. Lacy Moore (CMS)
Mrs. Moore does a great job making sure that her lessons are engaging and exciting from day one! The kids love going to science because of her!
Mrs. Lacy Sigman (CMS)
One of the most patient, loving, and caring teachers I know. She comes from a home filled with multiple children of varying ages, and then comes into a classroom where she and her staff are called upon to give that same level of patience, care, and dedication all over again. It takes a truly special person to possess the belief, determination, and compassion necessary to ensure that every one of her students receives what they need to succeed. Her commitment to her students and staff is evident in everything she does, and she is a wonderful example of what it means to be an educator who genuinely cares.
Ms. Ginger Sneiderman (CHS)
Ms. Sneiderman really pours her heart into her students and the results show. She has a way of engaging her students with interest and kindness and this can build trust with difficult students and keep them engaged also, this keeps them from acting out and gain an interest in class. She has to teach all the students elements of every other teacher's classes. That is very hard to do and she does this with grace and kindness. She facilitates some of our school clubs on her own time and for no extra pay, this is a testament of her interest and love for our students.
Mrs. Mackenzie Taff (CMS)
Mrs. Taff makes a difference in the lives of her students everyday! She comes to class with enthusiasm, patience, creativity, and a commitment to helping every student learn and grow. She seeks to build relationships where students feel supported and encouraged to do their best!
Mrs. Jeannie Thompson (CES)
Wow! What a super star Mrs. T is! She handled the many challenges of the first week of school and first day of elementary school for many students with skill, strength, and perseverance. It is not easy to teach Kindergarten. It takes a special soul. Mrs. T has that special soul and was born to teach.
Mrs. Julie Thompson (CES)
Mrs. Thompson is so kind and patient with her students. Kindergarten and Pre-K teachers are just different! The first week of school can be a challenge, but Mrs. Thompson embraces it with dignity and respect for herself and her students. She is a model teacher!

Special education is a big job to manage with students' various needs and a large paperwork load. Juliet is always seeking to improve her lesson planning, teaching materials, and paperwork. Even with many years of experience in special education, she always strives to do better and learn more.

I am nominating Bill for Staff Member of the Month because he has been all over the building since the day we started, making sure everything is running smoothly. He greets all of the staff, checks in to see if there is anything he can fix or help us with, and is always willing to lend a hand.
