To put it simply, she's the sunshine that brightens our school every day. In her roles as a high school special education resource teacher and her dynamic partnership with Mrs. Shockley in math class, she's transformed learning into a less intimidating and more enjoyable journey for our students. But her awesomeness doesn't stop there; she's worn multiple hats, including Senior Sponsor, Teacher Mentor, and Tutor, excelling in each one with unwavering dedication. What truly makes Ms. S. stand out is her infectious personality. Her smile and laughter are like contagious happiness, spreading positivity even on the toughest of days. Her motivational sayings like "teamwork makes the dream work" and "how do we get through hard things? One bite at a time" not only inspire us but also remind us that with the right attitude, we can overcome any challenge. We affectionately refer to her as "Ms. S" because she's more than just a colleague; she's a friend to all of us. What's most deserving of recognition is the countless acts of kindness she performs behind the scenes, touching lives in ways we can't fully comprehend.
